Mord Fustang melds his signature arpeggio style with a beautiful melodic house anthem. We saw the Hard Rock Sofa remix of this one last month, featured here, but Mord’s version can’t go without being recognized as the masterpiece that it is.

Kaskade‘s new studio album, “Fire & Ice” dropped on October 25th, and if you haven’t listened to it yet, I would highly suggest you fix that now. The “DJ of the Year 2011″ (DJ Mag Top 100) said in a teaser video that the album represented the last 10 years of his career. Kaskade’s talents have grown, and the new album is essentially a view of his evolution as an artist. Each track appears twice on the 2-disc album, as a regular “FIRE” version and slower tempo “ICE” remix. The two different versions represent Kaskade’s different styles of production, from his deep house roots to his slower Late Night Alumni side project tendencies. I featured only two of the tracks below, but the full release is littered with solid house hits. You can check out the whole tracklist and preview the entire album HERE on iTunes. For the time being, check out his wobbly disco collaboration with Skrillex and one of the most recognizable summer festival anthems from the album below.

Here’s the extended vocal version of the highly anticipated new single from Dada Life, “Happy Violence.” The full EP includes solid remixes from Kaskade, Uppermost, Swanky Tunes, and Caveat. According to Dada Life, the song is about the fun you can have when you’re not thinking too much. They say, “Bringing your brain to the club or a rave is an epic fail. Some people may not get a rise out of this one as much as I did because they won’t understand or appreciate the dialogue that is used in it, and some of you Hunter S. Thompson fans will smile from ear to ear after hearing it. Calvertron and MC Messinian drop some extra filthy bass with classic “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” style, turning out to be a surprising and BADASS combination.

Okay, if you’ve heard it, I have to admit that the original version of Zuri’s “Teddybear” really struck me the wrong way. The lyrics got a little repetitive and honestly just turned me off, but once I heard the newest EP of remixes, I took a different stance. The H2O Project‘s remix incorporates just enough of the original to make you wonder what the hell you’re even listening to – and then it kicks in with heavy dub awesomeness that makes you shake your head in approval and appreciation.

To close things up for this Tune Dump, we’re going to end with a new Kill The Noise remix from Koan Sound’s new EP that just released on Skrillex’s label. Koan Sound is new to me, and so it’s nice to see such a refreshing, chill style especially being promoted by OWSLA. I’m really digging their cut up glich hop style, but I really was taken away by KTN’s drum and bass version of “Talk Box,” featured below.
