A couple weeks ago, an official preview for the new “Kill Kill Kill” EP surfaced on YouTube, and instantly made thousands of tongues water around the world in anticipation for the long awaited new sounds from Kill The Noise, aka Jacob “Ewun” Stanczak.
Days later, the ten track EP hit Beatport and proved to be every bit worth the wait. The release comes to us from Skrillex’s label, OWSLA, which has been doing some REALLY big things lately. With Porter Robinson, Zedd, Skream, The M Machine, and KOAN Sound already in roster, I would venture to guarantee that the young label will grow to be quite the staple for new music.
“Kill Kill Kill” really is quite the bass heavy treat that we all hoped for, and consequently has been raved about ever since it dropped on the 22nd.
The EP shows how Stanczak can fluently switch tempo in his production style, and also how he has switched the tempo on his very own career. On the day of its release, KTN wrote, “Thank you everyone for the comments and shares, tweets, etc.. I stopped putting music out for over a year and just sat in my studio, and worked on this EP and my engineering. I really put my heart into it. Just wanted to add a special thanks to Skrillex and everyone over there at OWSLA for believing in my ideas early on and giving me this huge platform to share my music.”
