It’s that time again folks… Welcome to the eleventh installment of DDB’s “Tune Dump” series. And boy do we have some BIG ones for you this time around.
I hope all of you are having a great Holiday season, things sure have been busy for me lately. Whether you’re kicking back with family, or spending this time with your loved ones or friends, ANY time is a good time for new tunes!!
We’re going to kick things off with a highly anticipated new collaboration between the legendary Swedish House Mafia, and up and coming Knife Party project, featured earlier this month. This dynamic combo brings “Antidote” to the table, finally released in entirety.

The track is high energy, and the music video to accompany the work is brilliant. The official video was directed by Maxim Bohichik and Alex Bergman, and comes in two forms: explicit and clean… You’ll be able to tell which of the two versions is featured below very quickly, be sure to check it out:

There is an absolut SLEW of remixes for R3hab & Swanky Tunes’ new collab “Sending My Love.” Featuring just one was difficult, but I think Afrojack pulls it off pretty nicely in his new edit of the single.

This next one, from Devin Martin, is a play on the name of the new Knife Party project, who just released their “100% No Modern Talking EP” earlier this month (check it out here). The original is six plus minutes of sheer dub craziness, but I somewhat prefer Paradigm‘s take, which is much slower, yet still just as heavy. It’s a SPOON party muthafucka!

My initial reaction to Mord Fustang‘s new single was that it seems there is a bit of influence from the sounds of the mau5. Which isn’t a bad thing at all. Mord really is a master of melody, and this track sticks to his signature heavenly arpeggio style also. I could possibly do without the static noises and loud switches, but it doesn’t really deter me from the beauty of this one. I’m way stoked to see MF & the whole Plasmapool roster this coming February, just ordered up my VIP ticket last night!

Figure‘s newest track “Must Destroy” is extremely heavy. I’ve been personally anticipating this one, and it was definitely worth the wait. I was lucky enough to meet Figure last month when he tore up Indy’s Amber Room at the Old National Center, and he’s one awesome guy!

I always look forward to hearing more from this rising DJ and producer, his style of bass-filled drumstep is quite unique. Recently, he’s been dropping some very nasty bootlegs, and quite often you will find new goodies on his Soundcloud for free. Check out “Must Destroy” below:

It’s been a while since a Dirty Dutch style anthem has turned my head, but the master of the sub-genre, Sidney Samson does an excellent job on his newest remix of Guetta and Minaj’s “Turn Me On.” This is a party anthem right here!

The S has been captivating me ever since I heard of them. Their complex style is the perfect balance of hard, edgy bass, and brilliant melodic bliss. Their newest remix of Skrillex’s “All I Ask Of You” is intended to be their very last unofficial remix. They kept it a secret for some time, and finally leaked it for download in celebration of the launch of their new website, thesofficial.com. Grab it up for free below!

Here’s something I never thought I would see… a dubstep/electro KORN song, featuring Skrillex and KTN?! Yep, that’s right, and this is only the most popular single from an entire new ALBUM the heavy nu metal group recently released. The collaborations for an entirely different electronic album entitled “The Path of Totality” includes the production works of well-known dubstep/electro acts Skrillex, Datsik, Feed Me, Excision, 12th Planet, Downlink, Noisia, and Kill The Noise. With that heavy of a roster, it seems as though the album would be downright amazing. But honestly, despite being a huge Korn fan in middle school, I was a bit disappointed with the whole finished product. It’s not bad, just not nearly what I anticipated. “Narcissistic Cannibal” is the second single from the album, you can check out the whole thing here.
